Who among here will go for the Winter Olympics? I know the hotels are booked already but are there anymore hotels where we could rent a place to stay? I think its OK even if its in the outskirts of Vancouver as long as its not too far from the venues.
If you are going there, what event will you watch?
I wish I was going. I always say that one of these years I will make it to the Olympics, but then I procrastinate. I would think at this point everything in the Vancouver area is booked. If you haven't reserved something by now, you'll probably need to pitch a tent :)
Pitching a tent is a good idea but I still need permission from the owner of the lot where I will pitch my tent. Maybe I will just rent a car and sleep in it in the parking lot. But from what I heard sleeping in a car is dangerous.
Wow. I would love to go to the Olympics someday. I really wnated to go when they were being held in Turino in Italy. That would've been my dream, with the mountains and all.
